The Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of America has worked with OCAMPR through the Mental Health Task Force to develop a series on Mental Health and Orthodox Faith. This is a topic that many of our OCAMPR members have been engaging for years, but we have always been a minority voice in our Church and parishes. Now we are getting the word out as an effort to raise awareness, invite conversations, and facilitate teaching and learning about our Orthodox faith.

The relationship between science and faith has a long history in the Orthodox Church and is, simultaneously, a very current issue. This is no more true than when discussing the relationship between contemporary mental health theory and Orthodox theology and faith.
